Live Music to the Max (Heat)

It's Been a Hot Week So Far

We've had some great music on the recordBar stage this week. Monday was singer/songwriter Lucy Dacus, with her genre bending indie tunes that travel from twangy almost folky lightness to palm muted and confrontational rock. Lucy weaves tales that are real and personal and connect with the audience.

Wednesday was Jeff and Norm (playing all summer long on Wednesdays) playing familiar rock tunes. It's a great time to drop in and get your fill of live music and upscale bar food. And every night after the band rolls out, it's free karaoke until close, so bring some friends, have some drinks and sing your heart out.

Thursday night we had a fun event to support local business and music with Messenger Coffee featuring performances by Golden Groves, The Old Son, Swell Boy, and Snacky. It was an intimate night of music and a much-needed escape from the heat. I'm currently addicted to Snacky and am literally grooving to their synthy tracks while I type this blog (much 80's).

It Ain't Over Yet...

Tonight will be a great, highly recommended show featuring Jaymes Young and Saturday brings a wide assortment of rock with the Tito's Sound Machine Series, including Coby and the Prisoners, The Holidays, Akkilles and more.

We're excited for a weekend of fantastic live music. Hope to see you here!
